Wild Ginger @ the Bravern in Bellevue: Yay or Nay?

A nice overview of the new Wild Ginger in Bellevue written by Nancy Leson ran today in the Seattle Times. It mentions the decor and some signature dishes and overall gives it high marks.

Things get a bit interesting in the comments field where some readers either agreed with Nancy's admiration for Wild Ginger or strongly disagreed. She followed up the Times article with a post on her blog All You Can Eat.

  1. Hello Everyone, my name is Kenneth and I had a an amazing experience at Wild Ginger with my wife. As we walked in the door we were greeted by a very good looking front desk team that caried themselves very professionally and truly seemed interested in how we were doing. They showed us to a wonderful seat downstairs and our server was very attentive and suggested a few of his favorite dishes since we had never been there before. Additionally, their Sommilier stopped by the table and had an extensive knowledge of their vast wine menus and he as well suggested wines that paired amazingly with our food. Having been a first time guest to Wild Ginger I felt that the service was outstanding, the ambiance was romantic and on top of that their food left me walking out the door wanting more. We will definitely be back. Two Thumbs up!!!
